This year I decided I'd do better than year's past documenting all the wild things that happen during spring break.
As you can tell, it got buck wild.
| Our neighbors don't all love us, but at least this one didn't threaten to shoot my dog. |
| Hopscotch course for risk-takers. |
| "If enter, WILL BE SHOT." |
| If you get lucky sometimes you'll catch people taking family pictures at this scenic drainage ditch. |
| JB's has recently expanded to a gas station, but I'm glad the original
tax office still stands. Whether it's the 1917 or 2017 tax season, JB's
your man. |
| I would have framed this one differently, but I was on a one-lane road and too lazy to leave the car. |
| Mom and Dad's backyard + a plastic tire that will not work as well as you hope and dream. |
| A very happy dog who some might say is very much like the chicken in Moana. |
| Baby peppers and tomatoes. |
| Gimme two months and I'll have more tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant than
I'll know what to do with. I'll always want more corn than what I can grow.
Fingers crossed our broccoli, okra, cucumbers, potatoes, onions,
spinach, and cauliflower surprise us considering I've never grown them
before. Also fingers crossed no animals feast on the garden this year. |
| Here's my keeper of the garden since we left out the birds of prey in
the off season and they might only still be scary to me. |
| Here is a moose doing some quality control on the watering system for us. |
| Here is Maggie ready for her close-up. |
| Here is the backyard and also if you look closely you can see two bald eagles sitting in a tree, not K-I-S-S-I-N-G. |
I go back to elementary school tomorrow. Something tells me I'll fit right in, but you can still wish me luck anyway.
You forgot crying nephews and sneezeberry shaved ice.
